Canadian Gold Corp is seeking an experienced Exploration Geologist for our Tartan Mine operation located near Flin Flon, Manitoba.

The Tartan Mine hosts high-grade gold mineralization within a proven mining jurisdiction, with ongoing drilling programs targeting expansion of the known resource and development of new zones. Our team is committed to responsible exploration, operational excellence, and the safety of our people.

Role Description

This is a 1-year contract, site-based position on a 14 days on / 14 days off rotation at the Tartan Mine site near Flin Flon, Manitoba. As an Exploration Geologist, you will play a key role in the execution of diamond drilling programs, core logging, geological mapping, and data interpretation. The successful candidate will have strong technical and organizational skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing diamond drilling logistics and core processing workflows.
  • Proficiency in geological mapping, data interpretation, and sampling procedures.
  • Experience with core logging, lithological and structural interpretation, and QA/QC procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology or a related discipline (required).
  • Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) designation or ability to obtain (asset).
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in mineral exploration or underground mine geology.
  • Valid Driver’s License (required).
